Emel Sensoy was born in Atlantic City, NJ. She was raised in Istanbul, Turkey and educated at 'Tring Park School for the Performing Arts' outside London. She studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute' and is currently enrolled in the 3-year Conservatory at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, NYC; she will graduate Spring, 2026. During the summer of 2024 Emel participated in a 6 week Acting for Film & Television Intensive at the 'Art of Acting Studio' in Los Angeles. She is certified with a Judge's Recommendation in Stage Combat.

She has played a range of compelling characters on stage; 'Gut Girls' by Sarah Daniels, where she played Kate; 'Far From the Maddening Crowd' by Thomas Hardy, she played Joseph Poorgrass; and 'The Paul Street Boys' by Frenc Molnar, she played Feri Ats. Emel brings a powerful blend of classical technique and instinctive, physical performance to every role, all which included a standing ovation for her performances.

Alongside her acting work, Emel has expanded into voiceover work as well. Accents and dialects come easily to her, she picks them up with remarkable authenticity. Emel is bi-lingual, a native in both English and Turkish which makes her a sought after talent for international projects.

When Emel is not acting or doing VoiceOver work, she is dedicated to strength training; she's an avid athlete, boxer, kickboxer, body builder, dancer and she is a certified Yoga instructor.

She is empathic, conscientious, diligent and easy to work with.
